Thanks to a special camera that can easily take images from inside the mouth, the impression of the tooth to be restored is taken digitally and transferred to the computer environment. The impression taken with the camera is transferred to the computer and within 10-15 minutes, the digital restoration design is made with micron-sized precision and the three-dimensional printer completes the production between 5-15 minutes depending on the type of porcelain selected. Although the total duration of the treatment varies according to the number of restorations to be made, most treatments are completed within a day, without the need for patients to live with temporary teeth. All treatments can be digitally archived and the patient’s treatment history can be followed.

Methods such as personalized smile design, leaf porcelain (porcelain lamina), full ceramic veneers constitute the main working area of CAD/CAM systems. Since using digital impression technology in such aesthetic applications also contributes to gum health in the long term, the aesthetic result is much longer lasting. After a scan performed while no intervention has been made to the teeth yet, a smile design is made digitally, and the patient and the dentist plan how it will look before the treatment begins, taking into account the facial form, aesthetic criteria and the expectations of the person. At this stage, detailed photographs and video images are utilized. The treatment process begins in a way that is faithful to the plan and the person is quickly restored to a new smile.
