Impacted tooth operations are surgical procedures performed under local anesthesia. The difficulty of impacted wisdom tooth operations is related to the level and position of the tooth.
Impacted wisdom teeth can remain impacted at different levels and positions. When they are classified according to their level; they are called Bone Retained (Fully Impacted) and Half Retained (Half Impacted). According to their position; they can be vertical (upright), horizontal (reclined) or inclined forward or backward.
